Acne Prone Skin Wash Gel

100 ml — Zinc PCA

Cleansing gel with zinc to reduce blemishes.

Zinc helps reduce excess sebum production, leaving your skin less shiny. Cleanses thoroughly without leaving the skin feeling tight.

This is step 1 in your acne-prone skin routine.

Apply the cleansing gel to your wet face every morning and evening, massaging it in with circular motions. Rinse thoroughly afterwards.

Tip: the Ray range for acne-prone skin is also suitable for blemishes on the back and chest.

Zinc PCA — Zinc reduces excess sebum production by inhibiting 5-alpha-reductase. This makes the skin less shiny, resulting in a mattifying effect. Zinc has antibacterial properties against Cutibacterium acnes and helps restore the skin barrier.

Glycerin (plant-based) — Hydrates by attracting and retaining water in the upper layers of the skin, leaving it feeling soft and supple.

Pentylene Glycol — A powerful moisture booster that hydrates the skin. It also enhances the effectiveness of the other ingredients and acts as a preservative.

Contains 0% fragrance. Suitable for acne-prone skin.

Very satisfied with the cleansing gels, both the one for my daughter and the one for my own mature skin. However, I’m not a fan of the anti-aging routine with serum, day cream, and eye/lip cream. No matter what I try (using less, applying the serum only at night, letting it absorb longer, using a different foundation...), the day cream keeps flaking. So unfortunately, that will remain a one-time purchase.

Super nice cleansing gel :) My first purchase from Ray and immediately a success. After washing, my skin feels cared for and hydrated, which is often the opposite with a cleansing gel for acne-prone skin. This was my first step towards a skincare routine now fully equipped with Ray products. After years of searching, I’ve finally found a routine that helps keep my skin, with both acne and eczema, in balance. Very happy I discovered Ray!!
